CONDITION

Standard Type IV features.  Barrel and lockplate show light to moderate pitting mostly at breech end around bolster and forward several inches to include the rear sight. Lockplate eagle is lightly visible and only the "C" remains below, other markings on lock are very legible. Barrel markings are visible with barrel date partially obscured. Brass has been cleaned at some point and is now starting to mellow. Walnut stock has been lightly varnished at some point. An outline of the stock cartouche remains visible.

Overall not a bad gun and displays well. Definitely a good entry level Confederate gun that won't break the bank.
