QUARTER PLATE OF SOLDIER W/ COLORFUL SHIRT
A top condition quarter plate tintype of Federal enlisted infantryman. The soldier is wearing his 9-button frock coat and 1858 pattern forage cap. The best part of the image is the green shirt, the artist that tinted this image was a master as it looks like a true color photograph. Subject also has a gold tinted watch chain and is wearing a pinkie ring.
An outstanding image housed in a gutta percha case.
1/9th PLATE OF CAVALRYMAN WITH COLT ARMY
A tintype of an armed cavalryman holding his M1860 Colt Army revolver. He is wearing a shell jacket with M1851 swordbelt. His hat is great.
A very clear image . Has a very slight wave on upper left quadrant.
QUARTER PLATE LOG CABIN SCENE
A very good image of a family on the porch of the log cabin. Image is clear enough to see some farming implements hanginf on front of cabin and some tobacco or other plant hanging to dry. Housed in full leatherette case with one missing side piece.
RICHMOND LIGHT INFANTRY BLUES
A 1/6th plate ambrotype of a corporal of the Richmond Light Infantry Blues. Named for their distinctive blue and white uniforms, the company became the 19th Regiment of Virginia Militia in 1792 and part of the 1st Virginia Regiment in 1851. In 1861, they were detached from the 1st Virginia Regiment and served throughout the Civil War as Company A, 46th Regiment, Virginia Infantry.
His forage cap clearly displays the letters "RLIB" and he is wearing the uniform coat of the unit.

GREAT 1/4 PLATE OF 1870'S WESTERN SHERIFF
An excellent tintype of an armed lawman with badge and holding his Colt Single Action Revolver with 7 1/2 barrel. From the tall cowboy boots to the the wide brimmed hat and the the Colt revolver is right out of the frontier wild west.

1/9TH PLATE DAGUERREOTYPE ARMED SOLDIER
A nice condition dag of an militia corporal with sword. Subject wears single breasted coat with epaulettes. A shako style hat sits on table beside him. The case has San Francisco photographer name "R. H. Vance's".
1/6th PLATE AMBROTYPE OF YOUNG MAN WEARING WHEEL HAT
A crisp image of a young man wearing a suit and tie with 1840's era wheel hat of the style, both military and civililian of the period. Gutta-percha case is missing interior lining on lid.
