A Model 1860 cavalry enlisted saber manufactured by Mansfield & Lamb, Forestdale, RI during 1864. The M & F firm had US government contracts for cavalry sabers from  August 1861 through January 1865. The company delivered 14,050 cavalry sabers during 1864.
