CONDITION

An very good condition rifle. All original parts including ramrod. Barrel has traces of faded blue overall with a mix of brown patina. There is some pitting at breech that partially obscures barrel date. Lockplate is a mostly smooth gray-brown with good markings. Brass parts have an even, aged patina. Walnut stock is very nice with sharp edges and clear cartouches.

Brass handle saber bayonet is in very good condition. The blade has scattered dark spots with the tip being mostly dark. Brass mounted leather scabbard is very good with minor loss of finish near top mount. Stitching remains intact,
